Frequently asked questions
No. HalalTrust is a transparency platform, not a halal certifier. The restaurant provides the information shown on its Trust Profile, and customers review that information for themselves.
A certificate is not required to create a profile. Restaurants can list the documents, suppliers, and practices they actually have, as long as the information is accurate and does not overstate any claim.
Owners can update the public restaurant description, restaurant-listed documents, suppliers, sourcing or preparation practices, and the QR code assets from the protected dashboard.
The founding pilot currently supports one restaurant location per account. Multi-location management is not included in the launch version.
Signup starts a 30-day free trial with no credit card. Billing is activated later from the owner dashboard at $39 per month.
