About HalalTrust
HalalTrust helps restaurants organize and share their halal information through one clear, customer-friendly Trust Profile and QR code. We do not decide whether a restaurant is halal—we make its information easier to see, understand, and keep current.
The problem
A restaurant may have a certificate, supplier records, written sourcing practices, or answers that staff repeat throughout the day—but customers may not know what exists, where to find it, or when it was last updated.
HalalTrust gives the restaurant one structured place to present that information. The public profile identifies the restaurant as the source, shows relevant dates and issuers, and includes a clear disclosure about HalalTrust’s limited role.
What the launch product does
Owners manage the restaurant description, listed documents, suppliers, and restaurant-stated practices.
Customers see a mobile-friendly page with clear information sources, dates, statuses, and disclosures.
Restaurants download or print a code that opens the public profile without requiring a customer app.
Owners begin with a 30-day free trial and can activate the $39 monthly subscription from the dashboard.
Our product principles
01
Customers should be able to see what information came from the restaurant, what came from a third-party document, and what HalalTrust did not independently determine.
02
Owners decide which accurate documents, suppliers, and practices to share and are responsible for keeping that information current.
03
HalalTrust does not replace certifiers, scholars, auditors, or the customer’s own standards and judgment.
What HalalTrust does not do
Help shape the pilot
The founding pilot is focused on independent restaurants, food trucks, and caterers that want a clearer way to answer customer questions. The launch product will improve through real owner and customer use—not by promising features before they exist.
